  8.                                INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  10.         The following steps will guide you through the installation of Crossword
  11.         Creator.  If a step requires you to type a command from the keyboard, it
  12.         is shown in BOLDFACE.                    BOLDFACE

  15.         Installing the Program        ______________________
  16.  
  17.           1.   Copy all of the files on the Crossword Creator SHAREWARE DISK to
  18.                another floppy disk, or a sub-directory on your hard disk.
  19.  
  20.           2.   Run Crossword Creator by typing CWC, then pressing Enter.  Press                                               CWC                Enter
  21.                the Spacebar until you arrive at the main editing screen, with                   Spacebar
  22.                the words "File", "Edit", "Puzzle", and "Help" on the top line.

  24.           3.   Press Ctrl+F.  This will display Crossword Creator's                     Ctrl+F
  25.                configuration screen.  Press Enter two times.  Use the UP/DOWN                                            Enter
  26.                arrow keys to hilite the name of the printer definition file that
  27.                best supports your printer; this will be your "default" printer. 
  28.                Press Enter, then press Tab, then press PgDn.  The "OK" button                     Enter             Tab             PgDn
  29.                should now be hilited.  Press the Spacebar.  Crossword Creator                                                 Spacebar
  30.                will rewrite your CONFIG.CWC file and return you to the main
  31.                editing screen.

  33.           4.   Press Alt+F (pull down the File menu), then press E (for Exit),                     Alt+F                                       E
  34.                then press Enter.  This will end the program and return you to                          Enter
  35.                DOS.

  37.           5.   Your Crossword Creator installation is complete.
